Probably the best and most iconic modern art museum in NYC. Exhibitions are huge and cover almost two centuries. Recommended tour direction is from top to bottom. Excellent restaurant inside if you want to take a break.

Great place to visit. Worth spending a whole day studying the paintings from famous artists in the past as well as discovering new and impressive artworks in the last decade. Free audio guide devices are provided and they really come in useful while exploring the museum. Free bag storage service is also provided so anyone can enjoy the visit.

Awesome museum. I can't remember if I went through everything or not, I think it's a museum you can get done in a day. Decent student discount too. They have a cafe and a place to hold your coat and bag. Modern applies to its architecture as well. The gorgeous aesthetic boggles my mind

It surprised me how much I loved this museum. The paintings on display are massive. You can see close up the energy and motion in the painting themselves, and amazing textures. Many world renowned painters featured here. I enjoyed the tour from start to finish.

Awesome art museum. You can spend all day there and still not see everything on display. I love going and it is worth the price for admission. If you are local the membership would be worth it as you can get more out of it and return often for quick trips.

So much to see! I was lucky to accompany my daughter on her Kindergarten school trip. Some sections were kid-friendly, some were only for adults. We had a tour guide and it was so great that he explained some of Diego Rivera drawings and spoke to the children so that they can understand and have them thinking. Definitely coming back to explore more!

My first visit post renovations. Highly recommend a visit there to take in all the changes. It was crowded, but not as crowded as it generally is on the free day on Fridays.Use the coat- heck service. It’s phenomenal. Your claim check k number is your telephone number. I loved all the exhibits. I didn’t get to see my favorite old master “starry night” but love the new exhibits featuring diverse artists. Fascinating. MOMA is an oasis in NYC. Should definitely be on your list of places to visit. The sculpture garden wasn’t open the day I went due to inclement weather. I plan to go back again soon. Like most museums, you can’t take it all in in one visit. Pace yourself and bring water. If you get hungry, there are places to eat there.

Highly recommend getting the membership✅ if you live in New York! It’s $90 for a year (if you sign up for auto-renewal of your membership) while a regular adult ticket is $25. The members are allowed to bring guests who only have to pay $5 and have access to exclusive coat check (which now tags your items to your phone number so you don’t have to worry about losing the paper/plastic numbered sheets.) The revamped museum is worth a visit - it definitely feels a lot more spacious. The new gift shop looks cool from the outside because pedestrians can look down at the shop through the large glass windows. Looking forward to revisiting!

Six stories high featuring modern art. Some of the “artworks” though might require more understanding of the artists’ conveyance of their message. There is definitely something for everyone to appreciate and enjoy. The place can be busy but there are nice quiet areas overlooking nice skylines to sit back and relax. Throw in the usual coffee shop and store - have fun!
